Coordinator, Creative Brand Strategy & Integrated Marketing

dick clark productions, the world's largest producer of televised live event programming is looking for a Coordinator to join a forward-thinking, top-notch Brand, Marketing, & Digital Strategy team to create compelling pitch materials for prospective brand clients. The Coordinator, Creative Brand Strategy & Integrated Marketing reports directly to the Senior Manager, Creative Brand Strategy & Integrated Marketing. This position is based in Santa Monica, CA.

 

The Role:

This position works closely with the creative arm of the Brand Marketing & Digital Strategy team, servicing brands looking to partner with dick clark productions around its flagship tentpole events. As a key member of the team, the Coordinator will work hand-in-hand with the Brand Strategy Senior Manager and Coordinator, as well as the Account and Sales teams to respond to brand briefs and create effective pitch materials. This process includes assisting in creative ideation, developing the style of original presentations, editing existing presentations, making graphic mocks, taking notes, writing outlines, and/or creative briefs.

 

The ideal candidate has strong communication, writing, and creative skills, works well under pressure to extreme deadlines, likes working in a group setting, and can adapt to a fast-paced work environment. 

 

Duties:

  • Outline, update and edit Keynote presentations for the sales team
  • Help write and edit clear, concise and inspiring creative briefs which deliver on brand objectives and, in select cases, assist in the execution 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and pay close attention to detail
  • Work closely with the account management team to ensure timely and accurate delivery and creation of necessary pitch materials
  • Organize and manage the presentation assets and files

 

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of proven account management or other relevant experience (preferably from a brand or agency)
  • Highly organized person who works well under pressure
  • Exceptional Keynote skills
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite preferred 
  • A passion for television, music and all things pop culture
  • An innate understanding of social media content and platforms
  • Creative curiosity and the ability to collaborate with team members 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to focus in an open-plan office
  • Commitment to excellence, working nonstandard hours when necessary
  • Team player with a positive, proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • An enthusiastic Google Doc user

 

Required Education

Bachelor Degree in related field preferred
